The VORTEX Storm Chaser "Window Mount" Anemometer includes the following:
Mount the Vortex Storm Chaser™ anemometer firmly in the window of your vehicle, run the wire into someplace safe, dry, and warm, stick the display where you can easily see it - and you can get a wind measurement without getting wet or pelted by hail! The 2-piece bracket is a modified high-strength flag mount, and can take well over 100 mph winds. The storm chaser kit installs in minutes and will provide you will accurate wind speed data from within the safety of your vehicle The Storm Chaser is fully portable, comes with 25 feet of wire and a male/female jack connection, so you can leave the wind speed sensor installed and remove the display when not in use. |

If the rotor on your Vortex Wind Meter looks like the photo above AND it has a Sigma Sport BC906 display (silver square with TWO bar buttons on the top: Vortex BC906 "D2 Rotor" Instructions. This applies to those purchased after May/June 2007.
If the rotor on your Vortex Wind Meter looks like the photo above AND it has a Sigma Sport BC1200 display (silver square with ONE bar button on the top: Vortex BC1200 Window Mount "D2 Rotor" Instructions. This applies to those purchased between May/June 2005 and May/June 2007.
NOTE: Make sure to select the proper instructions; different rotor styles have different calibration numbers. Thank you!
